What's the benefit of have 2-speeds on the Rabbit-3?
Being able to toggle the floor machine between 2 speeds allows you to get more cleaning done with just one machine. At 200 RPM, you can use the machine to grind/hone/polish (with diamonds), clean baseboards, strip wax, scrub floors and clean carpet.
At 300 RPM, you can use the machine for high-speed buffing and polishing to give your floors that perfect mirror-like shine and finish.
How does the Integrated SplashGuard work?
The SplashGuard to your BIGGEST time and labour saver when it comes to stripping floors.
When you lower the SplashGuard to the floor during a stripping job, the messy wax mixed with the stripping chemicals gets contained under the machine and doesn't get sprayed on to walls, baseboards, planters, and nearby surfaces.
Just image all the additional time it would take to clean all the surfaces if you didn't have the SplashGuard during a stripping job. You won't ever have to worry about taping off/masking off all the baseboards before a stripping job, or clean-up after.
How do I downsize the Rabbit-3?
Downsizing the Rabbit-3 takes seconds. Just remove the SplashGuard and you immediately go from an 18" floor machine to a powerful 13" floor machine to get right in to those tight areas to clean.
You won't need a separate smaller machine to clean those smaller spaces like washrooms and restrooms.
What do I do when the red light appears on the top of the motor?
The motor in the Rabbit-3 has 4 carbon brushes which get worn out over time (typically every 10 years). When the red light appears, it indicates that it's time to change the carbon brushes. Think of it like a service indicator in your vehicle. Give Centaur a call or contact your local dealer to order a set of replacement carbon brushes and you're good to go for another 10 years or so.

The Rabbit-3 weighs in at just 76 lbs or 34.5 kgs when you detach the cable.
When do I need an onboard water tank?
An onboard water tank is recommended when you're scrubbing, polishing, stripping wax and baseboard cleaning. The convenience of having a 4-gallon deluxe water tank eliminates frequent/time wasting trips back and forth with buckets to a water supply. The water tank comes with a convenient actuator handle that allows you to control how much water you use at your fingertips while operating the floor machine. This increases your productivity and efficiency when working.
Do I ONLY need to use clean water to strip and clean baseboards?
