How To Assemble Your Falcon-1/3 Vacuum
Step 1

Remove the vacuum and hose from the packaging.
Step 2

To connect the hose, loosen the ribbed nut by turning it by one full rotation counter-clockwise.
Step 3

Insert the steel hose cuff and tighten the ribbed nut clockwise until snug.
Step 4

Centaur’s packaging is 100% recyclable. Recycle the packaging that your vacuum arrived in.
How to Operate And Care For Your Falcon-1/3 Vacuum
Before Starting Your Falcon-1/3 Vacuum
Please read and understand the safety guidelines before operating this vacuum cleaner.
Step 1

Release upper latches on the sides of the vacuum tank.
Step 2

Remove the motor-head from the tank.
Step 3

Inspect the filter, ensure the correct filter is installed for the desired application. Cloth Filter (left) for Dry Pick-Up. Mesh Filter (right) for Wet Pick-Up.
Step 4

Inspect tank, make sure it is empty and has been cleaned and dried.
Step 6

Replace the Adaptor Ring and secure lower latches; replace Motor Head and secure upper latches.
Step 7

Plug power cable into 120V (50/60Hz) North American power receptacle.
Step 8

The vacuum is now ready to be turned on for use.
How To Set-Up Your Falcon-1/3 For DRY Vacuuming
Step 1

Release the latches and remove the motor head.
Step 2

Insert the DRY cloth filter snuggly over the metal rim of the adaptor ring.
Step 3

Replace the motor head assembly and secure the upper latches.
Step 4

Connect the hose to the intake. Refer to "How to Assemble Your Falcon-1/3" for instructions. Attach desired tools to the hose.
How To Set-Up Your Falcon-1/3 For WET Vacuuming
Step 1

Release the latches and remove the motor head.
Step 2

Insert the WET mesh filter snuggly over the metal rim of the adaptor ring.
Step 3

Replace the motor head assembly and secure the latches.
Step 4

Connect the hose to the intake. Refer to "How to Assemble Your Falcon-1/3" for instructions. Attach desired tools to the hose.
How to Maintain Your Falcon-1/3
Step 1

Keeping your vacuum clean will ensure years of worry-free operation
Step 2

After each use, remove any contents or once the tank is 3/4 full. Drain all liquids from the tank.
Step 3

Cleaning the tank: Rinse the tank with warm soapy water, drain and towel dry. Wipe the outside of the tank with a damp cloth.
Step 4

Inspect motor head, make sure the underside is clean and any residual moisture has been dried with a towel.
Step 5

Store the power cord loosely coiled, utilizing the wrap strap (as pictured) to secure it to the
handle; this will reduce the strain on the cable connection.
