Step 2

Insert the steel hose cuff and tighten the ribbed nut until it's snug.

Step 3

For the SL-5, attach the hose stabilizer to the base of the tank. Once connected, the SL-5 can be dragged by the vacuum hose to prevent tipping.

How to Use a Powerbrush On Your Vacuum

Part # 1F13500—Wessel Werk EBK360LED Power Brush for Centaur Vacuums. Comes as a complete kit, including: Power Head with LED front lighting and 5 depth adjustments, stainless steel telescopic wand & 10ft electrified hose with “gas pump" style handle with ON/OFF switch.
Centaur Floor Machine vacuums are equipped with a power brush receptacle that is located on the motor head, labeled “For Power Nozzle Only". For a deeper clean of carpets, a power brush penetrates close to the route of the carpet fiber, extracting a greater amount of dirt over traditional, non-motorized carpet tools. This is a guide to using an optioned power brush with your vacuum.

Step 1

Insert the steel hose cuff of the powerhead hose into the intake on the vacuum. Tighten the ribbed nut to secure the hose.

Step 2

Locate the power receptacle on the motor head.

Step 3

Insert the power cable from the power brush hose.

Step 4

Turn the vacuum on, followed by turning on the power brush from the handle.

How To Manage and Care For The Filters On Your SL-3 Vacuum

The SL-3 is equipped with 3-stage filtration. The first filter stage is the paper bag. The second filter stage is a washable cloth filter and third filter stage is the Micron filter. It is very important to ensure that the filters and gasket are mounted correctly, to ensure optimal suction performance. The cloth filter can be machine or hand washed (remove from cage ) for cleaning.

Step 1

To remove the Micron filter, place the motor head on a flat surface and pull the Micron filter straight up with your hands.

Step 2

To install the Micron filter, place the motor head on a flat surface and simply push the Micron filter straight down.

Step 3

Press down until the filter gasket meets the lower motor support.

Step 4

The cloth filter is equipped with a support cage. To install the cage, place it inside of the cloth filter. Pull the cloth filter up, where the upper ring of the cage is aligned with the upper ring channel of the gasket.

Step 5

The upper ring of the cage must be inserted into the upper ring channel of the gasket.
